While analyzing the car for our own development and developing our rear wings, we found detached flow on the rear glass. Detached flow in this area increased drag and due to the location of the rear wings, reduces flow to the underside of the rear wing as well reducing efficiency. Coupled with the rest of our Ventus packages, the vortex generators make a more efficient and well balanced CTR. We specifically targeted improving flow on the rear glass which in turn, allows the UCW and P10 rear wing to work better and improves the wake region of this car.
