The units bolt on exactly how our standard endplates bolt on, with no change in hardware. The units are produced from 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon on machined aluminum molds for a consistent fit and finish. By venting the top side of the wing in a specific way and shaping the bottom portion of the endplate, we were able to reduce drag and increase downforce. This resulted in an improvement in wing efficiency of 0.6% (also know as Lift Over Drag or L\/D)  over the traditional V1X Endplates at 10 degrees AOA.
