Description
The Dodge Charger and Challenger are powerful, modern muscle cars with a prominent role in car culture. FOX Factory Race Series 2.0 X2 shocks dramatically improve the car as a performance-oriented daily driver with handling that’s adaptable to the track. TYPE III hard anodization prevents corrosion and wear of the 2.0-inch aluminum bodies. Converting the rear suspension to a coil-over improves the motion ration and makes ride height adjustments easy. The Factory Race Series kit accommodates 0.75-1.5” of lowering. External reservoirs increase oil capacity and decrease the harshness associated with nitrogen ramp-up. Our ride engineers spent considerable time testing the Dodge. We drove the car on the road and track, then optimized the shock valving for a variety of road textures to enhance vehicle balance. Fine-tune the vehicle’s damping with the 4-way adjuster, X2. Easily tune high-speed compression, high-speed rebound, low-speed compression, and low-speed rebound separately with 24 clicks each. The shock’s twin tube recirculating oil architecture coupled with X2 provides motorsport-level damping on the track, and 4-way adjustment allows for a comfortable drive home.
